We are moved!

Hey all, we are here!

Leaving Florida was hard on all of us, we dearly miss our family and friends (sigh).
But, as everyone knows, we are crazy, Seattle, Florida, Seattle, Florida and Seattle again, so who knows? but right now we feel this is the best move as a young and growing family. All that said, things are good—moving a little slower than expected, but work is happening, kids are growing and best of all THE MOVE IS OVER.

After a longer than expected stay at our great friends Pauline and Gerrad's we found a fantastic house to rent. It's old but new, a 1929 totally renovated/updated tudor with a great backyard and patio. AND we managed to cram all of our junk in it.

I have been freelancing, albeit not as much as I'd like and the interviews are rolling in, so stay posted there. Elizabeth has been BUSY to say the least, one week watching Peter and MaryAnn's son Sam and the next two watching Owen's playmate Ava. I am truly lucky to have a wonderful wife. She is amazing.

Owen was happy to be reunited with his old chum Liam and got a bonus buddy in Conner. He continues his obsession with Star Wars, but the little gun problem we were having seems to have mellowed out a bit.

Oh, my little Elle so full of spit and vinegar. Elle's favorite thing to do right now is pull things down, out and overall wreak havoc. Laundry, books and Owen beware...that being said her smile is as glowing and uplifting as ever. We love our Ellie Bean.

After countless days of sun in Florida, we are still acclimating to the Seattle lack of sun—even in August. Hopefully, Ama and Puppa will bring some with them when they visit in September, we can't wait to see em'.

Well, off to drum up work, then take the kids for a walk, then back to drumming up workage.

I had to tell Elle...

that she is a Mariners fan.

Ahhhhhhhhh!*

*That'd be my Mariners hat that Elle is looking at in sheer terror.

Meet Vinny Chapman

Hair plugs, nah—wigs are the ticket.

I plan on hitting the clubs again this Friday, Saturday AND Sunday for my revival tour.

Hey M's, I got a hitter here.

Owen has really taken to the new tee that the Fessler's bought, him. The tee was either really cheap or Owen just hits the piss out of the ball, because I have had to glue and tape it together twice now. That's right Owen is hitting and look at that perfect form (squashing the bug, straight forearm, eye on the ball and right on the sweet spot).

BluBlockin'

Yes, it's true I bought a pair—BluBlockers®. And I love them.

I'd estimate I drop $50+ a year total on sunglasses, some get old and break, some simply disappear, while others simply go out of style, but ultimately I by three or more pairs a year.

The equation goes like this; Florida, always sunny (no sh!t asshat) + bipolar fashion trends (due to the South Beach "uber hip" on one side and the folks at "Heavens Waiting Room" aka. Boca)on the other, + budget considerations (I heard we are in an economic slump)= A trip to Walgreen's, $14.95 and presto Blu is being blocked.

These specs are great, they're like a vacation for your eyes. They look dorky but in a cool kind of way, so if you can get over that, I'd say to make a small investment and send your eyeballs to BluBlocker land.

Neepin'

Okay, in our family we have a little term for sleeping, which is usually reserved for the babes or just cuteness combined with sleeping. So, take the "S" off of the front of the word Sleeping (becuase that's the baby talk way to do it), then take the "g" off of the end of the word (because I said so) and you end up with: Neepin' (See below)

Delay's, Rocket Boy and Easter Girl

No, it's not a new band name or even some new style Nickelodeon cartoon, it's what's going on at alilsumsum.

Real quick since it's late; (I don't know how my friends with blogs do it, some of them have like 4 posts a day?)

Elle: Cute as can be. Check. Easter outfit. Check. If you don't think she is cute you need your eyes checked. Or you don't like cute babies—and you need professional help? If you think she's not cute, please send comments to: aaronc@getyourasskicked.com

Owen: Where did this character come from? He was supposed to be the next Ted Williams. Instead he loves, Lego's, airplanes, helicopters and anything to do with Nasa. I guess The Splendid Splinter was an ace fighter pilot in WW2 so, who knows? Owen could be the first-ever big league/astronaut? stay tuned.

Elizabeth: Not pictured, but should be. She is busy, it's mommy squared now. She hopes to get a yoga class in, in the next 6-8 months. Hey, I got an idea: yoga-grocery shopping?

Me: Not pictured, because even though I live in Florida, I am as pasty white as Miracle Whip and have avocado-sized bags under my eyes. I love to be home with my peeps and miss the hell out of baseball season, oh and blogging (yeah right*).

That's the quickie, I hope to post again in the next week (yeah right**)

My Babes

Elle and Owen are already like peas in a pod, they very much know and love one another. Some of you have been clammering for new pics, so here you go.
