Hot off the press and straight to the breast

Elle and Mommy are doing great. She was 8lbs 9oz. My guess was right on and I think that is how much I weighed at birth. For the record Owen was 7-lbs 7 oz. Truly amazing!

Elle Josephine Chapman is here. She was born at 1:35 PM EST. No pictures yet, and she is so new we haven't even weighed her yet. In the next hour or so I will post pics and vitals. Yeah!


Oh, Owen cut the freakin cord...can't believe it.

We are close, no baby yet.

Tammy our midwife says Elle is very strong and is doing great, albeit not out yet. We are close though, I think E will be pushing pretty hard in the next hour or so to get her out.

Owen and Ama are having a blast playing in the loft...he can't wait to meet his new lil sis.
